Some conversations are more difficult than others. For many, talking about climate change is dicey, blood-pressure-altering, or just plain depressing. We wanted to change this. Enter, Climate Nan.

Imagine a world where...
talking about climate change is like a nice natter with your nan

Climate Nan’s Caravan is a touring conversation-starter. Visiting many areas across the UK that will be experiencing the effects of climate change, Climate Nan offers the community an outlet for their anxieties and frustrations.

Places like Ipswich, Doncaster, Stoke-on-Trent and Skegness are in danger of catastrophic flooding, but many residents feel too disconnected from the levers of power to be able to do anything about it.

As Climate Nan makes her way across the country, she’s collecting thoughts, opinions and demands from these communities to send to regional MPs and ministers in Westminster.

Most importantly, Climate Nan offers people a friendly ear, and a safe space for people to discuss what can often feel like a fraught political topic.
